Embracing the Journey Within
Self-love is a practice that goes beyond affirmations and pampering—it is a deep, sacred connection with your essence. It’s about honoring your own being, understanding your needs, and embracing the full spectrum of who you are, including the parts you may not always love. Self-love is an act of radical acceptance, where you choose to heal, nurture, and honor your soul.
For many women, the journey to self-love also involves healing. It is often through healing that we uncover parts of ourselves we’ve neglected or been unaware of. These parts might be emotional wounds, limiting beliefs, or unhealed trauma that have been carried over from our childhood, relationships, or societal conditioning. The key to deep healing is to bring light to these areas, allowing us to transform them with love and compassion.

Here are some tools for Self-Love and Inner Healing
During this month of February, I encourage you to dive deeper into your emotional and spiritual well-being. Take time to nurture your soul, as this is the foundation of healing and self-love. Below are practices that can help guide you through this process:
1. Cacao Ceremony and Shamanic Breathwork: These sacred practices create a deep connection with your inner self and allow for emotional release. During our cacao ceremonies, we create a sacred space where emotions can flow freely, allowing you to release what no longer serves you and to welcome in healing energy. Combining this with shamanic breathwork can help release trauma stored in the body, providing emotional and spiritual clarity.
2. Mindful Journaling: Write down your feelings and thoughts without judgment. Begin with questions like: What am I feeling in this moment? Where do I hold tension in my body? What do I need to forgive myself for? Journaling is a profound way to gain insights into the subconscious mind, uncover hidden emotions, and create space for healing.
3. Affirmations for Self-Love: Affirmations are a powerful tool to shift your mindset and reprogram your beliefs. Repeat statements like:
• I love and honor my body, mind, and soul.
• I am worthy of deep, healing love.
• I trust the wisdom within me to guide me through this season of my life.
4. Creating Sacred Rituals: Whether it’s lighting a candle, sitting in quiet meditation, or engaging in a physical practice like yoga or dance, creating rituals can support your emotional well-being. These rituals can help you release old energy and allow for new, healing energy to flow in.
5. Sacred Self-Care: Self-care is not just about bubble baths or skincare—it’s about listening to what your body, heart, and soul need. Sometimes, this means allowing yourself rest or doing something creative that brings you joy. Other times, it means confronting the pain or grief that needs healing.
The Role of Emotional and Spiritual Healing
When I guide women in healing, whether in my one-on-one sessions, cacao ceremonies, or in workshops, I always emphasize the importance of connecting with both the emotional and spiritual parts of ourselves. This is especially important when navigating significant transitions in life, such as menopause.
During menopause, many women experience not just physical changes but also deep emotional and spiritual shifts. This is a powerful time for self-awareness, as we are called to look deeper into what is happening not just with our bodies, but within our hearts and minds. In this sacred time of change, it’s essential to honor the spiritual and emotional aspects of the journey.
In February, I will be co-hosting a special women’s workshop here in Stockholm, alongside another medicine woman, where we will explore the holistic approach to menopause—looking beyond just the physical symptoms. We will focus on spiritual and emotional self-care during this transformative phase, offering tools that empower women to reconnect with their inner wisdom. We will guide you in practices that help you understand and honor the shifts within you, bringing more peace, balance, and clarity into your life.
The Spiritual and Emotional Aspects of Menopause
As we approach the age of menopause, many of us begin to experience profound changes not just in our bodies but in our hearts and minds. Menopause is a rite of passage—a transition that calls us to reexamine our relationship with ourselves and with life itself. It is the time when we enter the wise woman phase of life, but before we can step fully into this wisdom, we must release old patterns, limiting beliefs, and fears.
The emotional shifts during menopause can feel overwhelming. Feelings of loss, uncertainty, or even sadness can arise as we navigate changes in our bodies, relationships, and roles in the world. It’s important to remember that these emotions are a natural part of the transformation. Rather than suppressing them, we must make space to feel and honor them.
On a spiritual level, menopause invites us to reconnect with our divine feminine energy, our intuitive wisdom, and our deeper purpose. This time is about claiming our sovereignty, shedding old identities, and embracing the fullness of who we are.
Through sacred practices like cacao ceremonies, shamanic rituals, and guided meditations, we can facilitate emotional and spiritual healing, moving through this transition with grace and confidence.

It’s not just about tending to the physical body; it’s about tending to your emotions, your spirit, and your inner wisdom. As we enter the month of February, I encourage you to nurture your inner world—honoring yourself in every way possible. Whether through cacao ceremonies, journaling, or attending our workshop, know that the journey of healing is one of love, trust, and deep transformation.
Remember, you are worthy of all the love, compassion, and healing you give to others. It is time to give it to yourself.
